Indie Takeover Tour

I am Janeece Lipnisky Founder of Janeece Entertainment and Indie Take Over Tour.  We have been working diligently as a team to put together a successful tour for indie artists which we hope will decrease the violence and create more positive feeling in the urban communities.  The Indie Take Over tour is set to kick off on April 5 th, 2013 in Pensacola, FL and will end June 8 th, 2013 in Sacramento, CA.  Our tour stops will cover 19 of the hottest venues with capacities currently ranging from 1000 – 4000.

Every show will have a celebrity headlining artist performing.  This will help our indie artists to build a stronger fan base and sell their merchandise while on tour.  Furthermore, we strategically plan to generate a lucrative stream of income from ticket sales, merchandise sales and also sponsorships.

In between tour stops artists, staff & independent business owners, and employees will spend their days in conferences, hosting Non Profit Charity Fund raisers, and helping at food banks.  We will be also visiting children's specialty care homes & hospitals as to help teach them, so they can learn the in's & out's of the business world, hearing from speakers who run organizations, independent businesses, politicians & more! At these conferences, Tour Stops & Non Profit Charity Fund raisers businesses will have the opportunity to present their products to potential investors, record labels & fans!

We'll be working very closely with Coast 2 Coast mixtapes for the promotional side of the Indie Take Over Tour mixtape (digital version only) which will feature all the major headlining artists as well as recordings from our indie artist on the mixtape.  Coast 2 Coast will be handling our online promotions for the tour, from facebook, twitter, hundreds of blogs.

World famous boxer Roy Jones Jr. from BodyHead Entertainment will be promoting the whole Indie Take Over Tour and his artist 2Piece will be performing! We will have flyers (digital only) for each event, with major headlining artist, sponsors, along with club info to promote the events daily and cut cost instead of pressing up hundreds of thousands of flyers for each individual show. 

We plan on manufacturing 80,000 brochures which we will have a street team give out in each city of the tour stops.  Each brochure will give the public information all about the tour with tour, stops, headliners, indie artists, charity fund raiser to benefit: www.walkininmyshoes.org, sponsors and more!

As far as transportation for the tour, we will be using a chartered bus.  We are also look into an additional vehicle for the tour to make sure we have enough seating for all artists, managers, and employees of the tour.

TV broadcasting we will be working with Hustle Hard TV which will be filming our Friday & Saturday Night events starting at 7:30pm to air live on Time Warner Cable Channel 36! We will be working with MeetYoTweet Hosted by @YoshikoEnt (manager of Kevin "A& R shine) as she will be hosting our events as well.  Our DJ for the Indie Take Over tour will be DJ Dru Nyce from Hot 97 Boston, who has been DJing for 15 years, so it will be a pleasure to have him on the road with his experience & professionalism.

Radio Promotions: Well known radio hosts and DJ'S from Shade 45 to promote the daily events of the Indie Take Over Tour, which is approximately 2 months.

Last but not least, we are in the process of finalizing a few more things for the tour, we're currently looking for a bulk rate for hotels on the tour & also, we are considering hiring Mikey T The Movie Star from AllHipHop.com as our road camera guy to take footage of the tour to posts daily on our journey to helping indie artists become successful.  We' re also very focused on cutting costs for you as a potential investor and we want to make sure we have plenty of room for profit.
